BIO.
Anne Croken is an artist based in NYC. While earning a BFA from Pratt Institute, Anne was a carpenter's apprentice and learned stained glass technique. In 2009, she pursued a M.A. in Arts & Heritage Management in London, completing her research and dissertation on the exhibition of prisoner artwork in Hong Kong, where she worked and lived for 3 years.
Anne returned to Brooklyn in 2013 and has been working for The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts since. She is a 2016 Trestle/Brooklyn Art Space Winter/Spring Open Studio Resident and looks forward to making more XXXL paintings. Email: anne@annecroken.com
